Kristopher the Arcanist

Arcanist: A person having knowledge of a secret process of manufacture.

A young, newly blooded vampire brought into a clan fairly unique in it's methods, Kristopher is known to others as a Summoner. His magic depending heavily on the use of his Carbuncle, an elemental bound to his unique magical signature, standing in as friend, ally and pet all in one.

Kristopher is a bit of a shut-in, and his magic is a bit more complex... content to study the connection between the magical and mundane, as is often the case with Arcanists such as himself. Though his focus remains in the art of directing summoned and bound creatures, he attempts to broaden his horizons, and seek out magic in all of it's forms, a scholar in every sense of the word.

The Carbuncle, nicknamed Emerald by Kristopher, is surprisingly enough it's own separate entity. An easily excited little creature, this personification of the wind is flighty, easily distracted and as prone to mood swings as the wind is to change it's course, suddenly and all at once.

The bond between Kris and his Carbuncle is strong, the strongest of any of his summons. This shows in how their emotions reflect upon each other across this bond, allowing them both a peek into each other's minds as well as influencing their thoughts if only slightly. This leaves Kristopher with a sense of wonder he didn't have before, and a strong lust for freedom... and it provides the carbuncle an emotional rock of sorts, an easy way to focus itself on a topic or mission, as well as find the joy in sitting still, and simply enjoying it's surroundings at times.
